Responsible Gaming

Last updated: April 2026

Gaming should be enjoyable. When it stops being fun — or starts affecting your money, relationships, or wellbeing — it's time to step back. This page is here to help you stay in control and know where to turn if you need support.

Set a Budget

Before you play, decide how much you are willing to spend — and treat that amount as money you're prepared to lose. A budget keeps gaming within limits you're comfortable with.

  • Only deposit what you can genuinely afford to lose
  • Never use rent, bill money, or savings earmarked for essentials
  • Set a daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limit and stick to it
  • Take regular breaks — don't play for hours at a stretch

Most gaming platforms, including BDG Game, allow you to set deposit limits from within your account settings. Use them.

Know the Risks

BDG Game involves wagering real money on chance-based outcomes. A few things you should understand before you play:

  • The house always has an edge. Every game is designed so that the platform earns a margin over time. This is how gaming businesses operate. It means that if you play long enough, the math works against you.
  • There are no guaranteed wins. No strategy, pattern recognition, or system can predict outcomes in a game of chance. Anyone selling a "winning system" is not being honest with you.
  • Short-term wins are possible — long-term profits are not a reliable expectation. Winning streaks happen, but they do not change the underlying odds.
  • Chasing losses makes things worse. If you're down and keep playing to win it back, you are likely to lose more. This is one of the clearest warning signs of problematic gaming.

Signs You Should Take a Break

It's worth checking in with yourself honestly. Consider stepping away if any of these apply:

  • You're depositing more than you planned or can afford
  • You find yourself chasing losses — depositing more to try to recover what you've lost
  • You're borrowing money to fund gaming
  • Gaming is taking time away from work, family, or sleep
  • You feel anxious, irritable, or preoccupied when you're not playing
  • You're hiding your gaming from people close to you
  • Gaming is affecting your relationships or your mental health

Recognising these signs early is important. It is not a weakness to acknowledge them — it is the right thing to do.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel you need to limit or stop your gaming, you have options within the BDG Game platform:

  • Set deposit limits — restrict how much you can deposit in a given period, available in your account settings
  • Take a cooling-off break — temporarily suspend your account for a set period
  • Self-exclude permanently — request a full account closure through in-app support

To access these options, open the BDG Game app, go to Account, then Settings or Help / Support, and look for responsible gaming or account limit options. If you can't find them, contact in-app support directly and make the request — they are required to help you.

Before closing an account, withdraw any remaining balance.

Get Help
